Lux Beatissima

Lux Beatissima was written as a meditation on and celebration of human nature, specifically our apparent duality. It is a way of processing my questions about our humanity and sharing the awe that those questions evoke in me. The text, O Lux Beatissima, is from the medieval liturgy, Veni Sancte Spiritus (Come, Holy Spirit) with additional text from the Gospel of John.     ~Joshua Rist
