Franklin Gallo is an Assistant Professor of Music at Silver Lake College and on the summer Kodály certification faculty at Westminster Choir College. He holds a D.M.A., from the Hartt School, a M.M., from Shenandoah University, and a B.S., from Duquesne University. Additionally, Frank holds a Performance Certificate from the Ezio Pinza Council of American Singers of Opera (Italy) and a Diploma from the Zoltán Kodály Pedagogical Institute of Music (Hungary). Frank has held faculty positions at Shepherd University, The Hartt School, and at DePaul University, as well as in numerous public schools. Dr. Gallo is in demand as a guest conductor, clinician, conference presenter, and composer. The past recipient of the Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE) Ruth Boshkoff Composition Prize, Frank’s works are featured in the Ruth Dwyer Choral Series.
